Job summary

Trinity Health on the Kaiser 7 West Unit is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the inpatient team for a full-time 12-hour night shift. Under the delegated authority of a registered nurse, you will perform nursing functions within your scope of practice and assist with gathering data for nursing assessments.

Responsibilities include assisting patients with daily living activities, supporting catheter care and other procedures, setting up respiratory and cardiac equipment,

Qualifications

• Maryland Board of Nursing CNA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required.
• Hospitals experience preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (eating, bathing, dressing, mobility, toileting).
• Support care procedures including catheter care, sitz baths, colostomy care, and more.
• Apply care products such as compression devices and restraints appropriately.
• Set up respiratory and cardiac equipment (oxygen, suction, EKGs, incentive spirometry).
• Function in both CNA and Health Unit Coordinator roles as assigned.
• Maintain current nursing skills within scope of practice.
