• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPI training within 90 days of hire date.
• Active Texas CNA license or Patient Care Tech certification required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Able to work with culturally diverse and bilingual patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct patient care and support unit operations.
• Record vital signs and intake/output; notify RN of changes.
• Assist with ADLs and feeding.
• Observe patient behavior and report changes to the RN.
• Escort patients for tests and activities on and off the unit.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly patient environment.
