Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver direct resident care under licensed supervision. You will support ADLs, promote a compassionate environment, and help ensure residents’ rights are respected as part of a dedicated care team.

You will work 8-hour shifts, including night hours (10PM–6AM), and participate in staff training and onboarding. Signature HealthCARE offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities in a resident-centered organization.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Function independently, and have integrity when working with stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, and food consumption as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff as requested.
• Other special projects and duties as assigned.
