Job summary

Good Samaritan Society seeks a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered care under a charge nurse. You will administer medications as delegated, assist with daily living activities, and support dining and nutrition for residents at the Echo Ridge facility in Rapid City, SD.

The role requires CMA or CNA certification, 18+ years, and ongoing competency education. Night shift with differential and full-time benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, not required.
• Minimum age 18 preferred.
• Annual competency testing and continuing education credits required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Assist with transferring, positioning, and mobility using proper techniques.
• Support meals, dining, and hydration; assist with snacks as needed.
• Document care, medication administration, and vital signs.
• Participate in wellness and recreational programs and care planning.
