Job summary

Good Samaritan Grand Island Village in Grand Island, NE seeks a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a charge nurse. You will support residents with activities of daily living, mobility, and comforting, following the plan of care in a compassionate, Christian environment.

Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse, document outcomes, and communicate changes to the charge nurse.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age 18 preferred. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• State-specific CNA/CMA requirements may apply depending on location (IA/ND/SD, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and transfers.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by licensed nurses and document outcomes.
