Job summary

OhioHealth Doctors Hospital is seeking a full-time pharmacist for the night shift (7 on/7 off). The pharmacist will dispense, compound, counsel patients, interpret prescriptions, and actively participate in patient drug therapy management within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include integrating into central and clinical areas, mentoring students, and supporting safety and cost-effective therapy across acute care settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution (Required)
• Current Ohio pharmacist license (Required)
• Basic Life Support Certification-current or obtained during orientation period
• ASHP accredited residency or equivalent pharmacy practice experience
• Pharmacy Board Certifications or other certifications
• Advanced-level degree in healthcare field
• Collaborative practice experience
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (may be required to obtain as determined by manager)
• Pharmacokinetic drug dosing experience
• Drug therapy management

Responsibilities

• Dispense and compound medications; ensure proper labeling and dosing accuracy
• Counsel patients on medications and health topics; interpret prescriptions
• Manage patient drug therapy and participate in drug utilization review; collaborate with physicians and nurses
