Job summary

Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for night shift, full-time. You will optimize patient care through safe, cost-effective pharmaceutical services, including drug dispensing and IV admixture, under the supervision of Pharmacy leadership.

The role oversees pharmacy technicians and supports staff in a decentralized med-surg setting. Required ACPE-accredited degree, hospital experience, and active pharmacist license; PGY-1 residency or equivalent experience

Qualifications

• B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
• Completion of an accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy residency or fellowship.
• 2+ years clinical pharmacy experience with no residency or fellowship.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy.
• Other applicable state requirements - i.e. sterile compounding, etc.
• BLS & ALS/ACLS certification (BLS required within 90 days of hire; ALS/ACLS required for attending Code Blue).
• Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy (preferred).

Responsibilities

• The clinical pharmacist optimizes patient care by providing appropriate, safe, and cost effective pharmaceutical care including drug dispensing, IV admixture program, and providing drug information.
• Works under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager and will oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.
• This is a decentralized position supporting med surg.
