Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 60 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course within 1 year of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 60 days of employment start date
• Trauma Nursing Core Course within 1 year of employment start date
• RN - Registered Nurse
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 1 year of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality patient-centered care
• Participates in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services
• Collaborates with managers to create teamwork that improves outcomes and service
• Supports patient-first philosophy and service recovery when necessary
• Implements nursing strategies to improve engagement and rounds
• Recommends and implements actions for staff training and performance evaluation
• Assists with staff scheduling and productivity alignment
• Manages inventory control and supplies/equipment
