Job summary

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator in the Emergency Department at HCA Healthcare Colleton Hospital leads patient care during the night shift, collaborating with managers to monitor and improve clinical outcomes. You will role-model nursing excellence, support staffing and throughput, and drive service initiatives that elevate patient experience.

This role emphasizes coordination, staff training, scheduling, and adherence to policies to sustain a high-performing ED within a 130+ bed acute-care

Qualifications

• RN license required with ongoing professional development.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENPC/ENPC or similar pediatric courses must be kept current.
• TNCC and NRP certifications preferred or obtainable within stated timelines.
• Experience coordinating ED nursing staff and patient flow is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Direct, monitor and evaluate nursing care during the shift.
• Coordinate admissions and discharges to maintain throughput.
• Collaborate with management to improve patient outcomes and service.
• Schedule staffing and manage labor within productivity guidelines.
• Support inventory control and equipment management.
• Provide staff development, training and performance feedback.

Education

RN License

ACLS within 60 days

BLS within 30 days

PALS within 60 days

EPC/ENPC within 1 year

Nursing degree (ASN/BSN)

TNCC within 1 year

Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP/Neonatal)
