Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Technologist to join Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA. The work schedule is 4x10 shifts from 9pm to 7am, Monday to Thursday, with rotating weekends and eligibility for a 15% shift differential.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a chemical or biological science (or MLS) and 1+ year of clinical lab testing experience; ASCP/AMT certification is preferred. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for external candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a chemical or biological science, clinical laboratory science or medical technology.
• MLS degree or 1+ year of clinical lab testing experience valued.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine acceptability of specimens for testing.
• Perform routine and complex procedures per SOPs.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation.
• Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls.
• Report accurate results to support patient care.
• Maintain quality control and preventative maintenance.
• Manage supplies and assist with specimen processing.
