Decypher Technologies, Ltd. is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform clinical laboratory tests across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, urinalysis, serology, transfusion services, and phlebotomy.

The role includes preparing specimens, operating and maintaining instruments, and reporting results using LIS while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The position requires a completed lab technician certification program, BLS, ASCP/AMT certifications, and at least one year

Qualifications

• Education: Certificate; Must have completed an approved college-based laboratory technician certification program and passed certification test by an approved organization.
• Certifications: BLS; Current certification/registration as determined by ASCP or AMT.
• Experience: One year of experience in a clinical lab as a Medical Technician; six-month rotation through all sections of a medical laboratory as part of training.

Responsabilités

• Perform full range of clinical laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, urinalysis, serology, transfusion service and phlebotomy.
• Prepare and evaluate specimens, calibrate and maintain instruments, and report results.
• Conduct quality control procedures and ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards.
• Learn or relearn procedures for performing laboratory testing as required at duty location.
• Prepare specimens for transport to MTF laboratory or for mail out.
