Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Uses EMR/LIS to place orders, receive and route specimens.
• Provides clerical, administrative, and customer service support to the department.
• Answers phones and provides information to nursing floors, physicians, staff, couriers and patients.
• Dispatch of couriers as required.
• Communicates test results/reports to nursing units and physician offices.
• Monitors and maintains supply inventory.
• Assists in training and orientation of new associates.
