Job summary

Laboratory Sciences of Arizona in Phoenix is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to assist technical staff, receive and process specimens, and prepare samples for testing, with possible waived or limited moderate complexity testing under CLIA supervision.

You will follow policies, document results, help with inventory, phlebotomy, and training, and communicate professionally with customers. A high school diploma and phlebotomy/CLA certification, plus DHS fingerprinting eligibility, are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; must be 18+ for phlebotomy.
• Phlebotomy/CLA certification per state regulations.
• Progression through career ladder as per department policies.
• DHS fingerprinting certification may be required or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare patient samples for testing.
