Job summary

Nash UNC Health Care is seeking a Clinical Helper to support nursing staff in the NGH Nursing Float Pool. This per diem role requires assisting with basic patient care tasks during night shifts, including bathing, feeding, and toileting, under supervision.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and current BCLS certification. Prior PCA experience and strong communication are a plus, with the transition to a supportive team environment centered on patient well-being.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Experience as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) preferred.
• Superior interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Bathe
• Feed
• Assist with Toileting
• Apply and remove restraints (soft wrist and mittens)
• Complete CHG baths
• Perform Foley maintenance care
• Turn/Reposition
• Assist with Activity Progression
