Job summary

CCS Facility Services is hiring a Janitor to keep commercial spaces clean, organized and disinfected. The role includes sweeping, mopping, window cleaning, trash disposal, restroom maintenance and enforcing safety standards.

The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and working the night shift with a focus on reliability and thoroughness to support daily operations. DailyPay is offered as a payment option.

Qualifications

• Punctual and dependable, follows instructions and completes tasks on time.
• Willingness to adhere to safety and security procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean the interior of buildings, including floors, carpets, rugs, windows and walls.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in offices, rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, elevators, stairs, locker rooms, and other areas.
• Clean stains from chairs and upholstered furniture.
• Keep furniture dust-free and maintain lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and moldings.
• Empty trash cans and recycle containers and clean ashtrays.
• Disinfect desks, door handles, office tools and phones.
• Maintain restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Wash and clean windows and mirrors.
• Clear trash and snow from sidewalks as needed.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request missing materials when needed.
• Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions or maintenance needs.
• Maintain a cleaning chart indicating areas cleaned and inspected.
• Follow safety protocols.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Close doors at end of night shift.
