Qualifications

• Basic cleaning responsibilities requires no previous experience.
• Able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment; portable vacuum back pack style.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors and other surfaces inside buildings.
• Operate light and heavy floor buffers and shampoo machines.
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot clean daily and shampoo rugs.
• Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies daily.
• Monitor defects (clogged urinals, lights out) and report to supervisors.
• Collect and dispose of building trash; replace liners as needed.
• Sweep or shovel snow from entrances as directed.
