Job summary

Living Spaces Furniture in Humble, TX is seeking Night Shift Drivers for ground transport to support port coverage and distribution centers. You will safely pick up containers from the port and deliver to the distribution center, following all safety policies and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities include operating Class 8 tractor-trailer up to 80,000 lbs, maintaining logs, inspecting vehicles, staying on route, and keeping accurate records of hours and deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and truck log software.
• Must meet all Federal DOT physical requirements and hold a valid Class A CDL with TWIC card for port entry.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 8 tractor-trailer up to 80,000 lbs.
• Pickup containers from the port and transport to distribution centers.
• Maintain DOT-compliant logs and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
• Follow delivery schedules and routes; communicate with dispatch.
