Job summary

Living Spaces is seeking a Night Shift Driver to safely operate a Class 8 tractor, pick up containers at the port, and transport them to distribution centers across the country. You will maintain DOT logs, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensure on-time deliveries while adhering to all safety standards.

Applicants should have a CDL, 2+ years of tractor-trailer experience, and be available for weekend shifts. The role offers overtime and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years verifiable experience operating and driving a tractor-trailer.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 8 tractor with a max gross vehicle weight of up to 80,000 lbs.
• Pick up containers from the port and transport to distribution centers.
• Adhere to all federal, state, corporate and departmental safety standards.
• Inspect truck for defects before, during and after trips; submits DVIR log.
• Track driver logs in accordance with DOT compliance.
• Safely drive and operate your assigned delivery vehicle.
• Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs; report issues to management.
