Job summary

Western Milling is seeking a Local Route Truck Driver to transport deliveries locally or over the road per DOT rules. This night shift runs 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM on a rotating 6-on/5-on schedule with every Saturday off and alternate Sundays off.

You will load and unload, maintain logs, provide excellent customer service, and perform pre-trip inspections. A Class A license, clean driving record, and at least two years of experience are required; candidates must read and write English and be able to

• High school diploma preferred.
• Minimum 2 years driving commercial trucks.
• Clean driving record and Class A license required.
• Read and write in English for logs and reports.

Responsibilities

• Transports deliveries safely per DOT regulations.
• Loads and unloads deliveries according to load size.
• Prepares and processes shipment documents neatly.
• Maintains daily DOT logbook and reports discrepancies.
• Provides excellent customer service and professional appearance.
• Performs daily pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance.
