Job summary

Velocity TruckingPros LLC is seeking local Class A night drivers for a home-daily schedule on a dedicated grocery fleet. You will complete 2 local runs per day, averaging around 2,200 miles weekly, with live unloads at store docks and a slip-seat setup.

The role operates on a night shift with a stable 5-day cadence. Trainees with CDL are welcome; experienced drivers attain steady pay and can participate in bonuses and company benefits after a 60-day period.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and a current DOT medical card.
• Live unloads at store docks on a local, home-daily night route.
• Residence within 25 miles of ZIP 33982 to be eligible.

Responsibilities

• Operate local night runs with 2 local trips per day, totaling ~2,200 miles per week.
• Home daily with a 5-day work cadence (Thu-Mon or Fri-Tue options).
• Slip-seat arrangement; haul grocery freight with live unloads.
• Eligible for performance and stop bonuses; some holidays nights may be required.
