Job summary

ARG PETRO in Edinburg, TX is hiring a Class A Night Shift Driver. The position focuses on loading, transporting, and unloading fuel with emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance, and customer service.

Requirements include a valid CDL A with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements, at least 3 years of commercial driving experience (1 year tanker), clean DOT record, and ability to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• Minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience, with at least 1 year driving a tanker.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must have a current DOT medical card and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload fuel using the truck’s transfer pump.
• Conduct and document pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate driving logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Follow all applicable federal, state, local, and company safety regulations.
• Deliver product to customer sites including convenience stores, oilfields, trucking companies, railroad yards, drilling rigs, and more.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
