Job summary

ARG PETRO, a long-established wholesale fuel and lubricant company, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver with Tanker and X endorsements to load, transport, and unload fuel products. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and strong customer service.

The driver will deliver to customer sites, maintain logs, and follow DOT guidelines. Rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays are required, with competitive pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and X endorsements.
• Minimum 3 years commercial driving experience, with at least 1 year tanker experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors/indoors on extended hours.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends/holidays.
• Current DOT medical card on file.
• Clean driving record (≤1 moving violation in 3 years).
• Solid knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload fuel using the truck’s transfer pump.
• Conduct and document pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate driving logs per DOT regulations.
• Deliver product to customer sites (stores, oilfields, trucking yards, etc.).
• Communicate with dispatch and customers about delivery schedules and requirements.
• Follow company policies, safety protocols and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
