Job summary

Ideal candidates are reliable, able to read MSDS, follow instructions, and lift up to 50 lbs. This temp-to-hire role offers steady weekly hours and overtime as needed, with a pay rate of $19 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Ability to read and interpret MSDS/safety documentation.
• Competence in basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions, and accurate measurement reading.
• Ability to calibrate scales and measure materials precisely.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong reliability and dependability—consistent attendance is essential.
• Must be willing to be clean shaven to properly use a respirator.

Responsibilities

• Operate mixers, dryers, coaters, and other processing equipment to manufacture oilfield chemical products.
• Measure, load, and verify correct chemical weights according to batch requirements.
• Monitor machine temperatures and processing conditions to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Maintain correct heating and cooling cycles during and after production runs.
• Follow formula cards to ensure proper mixture ratios.
• Validate accuracy of completed batch reports.
• Read and understand MSDS for all chemicals involved.
