Job summary

Lake Country Dairy in Turtle Lake, WI is hiring a Night Shift Cheesemaker to join our production team. Shift is 4PM-4AM, four days per week, with a focus on detail, process control, and pride in craftsmanship to produce high-quality cheese.

Experience as a cheesemaker is a plus, but we provide training. The work is hot and humid, requires walking stairs, lifting 25–50 pounds, and standing during the shift. Competitive wages with overtime, benefits and advancement are offered.

Job Details: Job Location: Lake Country Dairy - Turtle Lake, WI 54889, Salary Range: $25.00 - $27.00 Hourly, Lake Country Dairy is an award winning Hard Italian Cheese manufacturing plant. We are proud to be a part of Wisconsin’s strong tradition of cheese making and our goal is to make the best cheese in the world!

We are hiring a Night Shift Cheesemaker to join our team of highly skilled and talented cheesemakers! Shift is 4PM-4AM, working 4 days per week. Turn your attention to detail, technical skill and pride in craftmanship into a career making high-quality cheese. We are seeking a dependable Cheesemaker to operate production equipment, manage recipes, monitor quality, and help keep the cheesemaking process running safely and efficiently. Prior cheesemaking experience is a plus, but we will support the right candidate in learning the art, craft, and science of cheesemaking.

The work environment is hot and humid, and constant standing is required. You must be able to walk up and down stairs several times during a shift; bend, stoop, squat, push, pull, and twist; perform grasping and twisting motions with the wrists, hands, and fingers; and lift 25–50 pounds.

Qualifications:

Experience as a cheesemaker or other skilled position within a dairy plant is a plus, but not required. We will provide all training and support for the right candidate! Must have a mechanical aptitude, strong time management skills with ability to multi task and have excellent attention to detail.
