Great Lakes Cheese Co. in New York is seeking a General Laborer to assist with wrapping, boxing and palletizing blocks of cheese during a night shift. You will ensure correct labels and weights, maintain production records and monitor packaging integrity.

The role requires basic math, the ability to read production sheets, and adherence to GMP and safety policies. Preferred experience includes MES and SAP; physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a cooler environment.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment.
• Ability to read and prepare production reports and comprehend production worksheets.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Responsabilités

• Wrap, box and weigh cheese blocks (40 lb and 640 lb).
• Ensure accurate labels and weights of product.
• Keep accurate production records.
• Ensure package integrity.
• Observe equipment and cheese as it goes through production lines.
• Report problems to the supervisor.
• Clean & sanitize all equipment as required.
• Follow safety policies and GMP guidelines.
