Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of policies, procedures and activities of Solid Waste Department.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and staff.
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize daily assignments and work activities.
• Ability to comprehend regulations and procedures of the department.

Responsibilities

• Collects refuse, recyclables, compostables, litter and other materials from customers.
• Maintains daily records and reports.
• Communicates with the public about solid waste programs.
• Operates vehicles and related equipment as required.
• Assists in disaster response during inclement weather.
