Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Live Haul Driver to safely transport live birds from farms to support production needs. This role requires operating and maintaining hauling equipment, following schedules, and upholding safety, quality, and reliability standards across teams.

The driver will document deliveries, comply with regulations, and work with live haul, live production, and farm staff to ensure timely, compliant shipments. Night shift is typical, with company benefits after eligibility.

Qualifications

• 12 months of verifiable tractor/trailer experience within the previous 36 months.
• Must not have a positive drug or alcohol test in the past 5 years to be eligible.

Responsibilities

• Operate live haul trucks safely and efficiently.
• Conduct equipment inspections and report issues to the Supervisor.
• Maintain product quality and truck cleanliness and readiness.
• Communicate with associates, maintenance staff, growers, and supervisors about conditions.
• Pick up each flock as directed and follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Adhere to PPE requirements and safety procedures.
• Foster teamwork and positive communication.
• Other duties as assigned.
