Job summary

US Foods is seeking a driver to safely operate delivery trucks, meet scheduled times, and unload products with equipment or by hand. You will verify deliveries, handle payments when needed, and provide excellent customer service at each stop.

Starting pay during training is $27.81 per hour, switching to a component pay system with mileage, stops, and cases to average $32.00 per hour once trained. Full-time night shifts with flexible schedules are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state.
• Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry).
• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
• Carefully unload products from the trailer and place in designated customer storage areas.
• Verify delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures.
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
• Provide professional customer service to enhance client experience.
