Job summary

Performance Food Group in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Shuttle Driver for a 4-night schedule (Sunday-Thursday 10:00 PM start). You will transport empty trailers to operating locations, turn around and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations, complying with DOT regulations.

Responsibility includes safety checks, paperwork, and secure handling of loads. Requirements include a CDL A with doubles endorsement, 6+ months driving, clean MVR, and ability to lift 60-90 lb goods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Drives and delivers trailers on predetermined routes.
• Completes daily hours of service in logs.
• Performs hook/unhook procedures and secures freight.
• Parks and stores tractor trailers in designated areas.
• Collects damaged goods and returns to base facility.
• Unloads equipment and maintains trailer cleanliness.
