Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver in Minnesota to transport trailers to and from operating company warehouses. The role requires a tandem/tractor trailer and adherence to DOT regulations.

Expect overnight schedules with a 6:30 PM start and an average of 11 hours of driving time per shift. Requirements include a valid CDL A with doubles endorsement and at least 6 months of commercial driving experience, a clean MVR, and the ability to lift up to 90 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 6 months of commercial driving experience recommended.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age and meet all licensing requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Able to work 3rd shift, Sunday-Thursday nights.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Must have DOT Health Card or be able to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety checks per DOT regulations before and after trips.
• Inspect and secure trailers and loads; ensure proper documentation.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; report hazards.
• Drive and deliver trailers on predetermined routes, maintaining schedule.
• Perform hook/unhook procedures and park/secure equipment.
• Maintain daily hours-of-service logs and housekeeping duties.
