Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking a safety-focused Night Shift Plant Truck Driver in Caldwell, ID. You will operate dump trucks, forklifts, and other plant equipment to transport materials and byproducts during overnight operations, maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role requires a valid CDL-A and a Medical Examiner's Certificate, plus 6 months of driving experience. You’ll work independently within a production team, with opportunities to mentor others and contribute to a strong safety

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL-A and Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months of commercial driving experience.
• Basic computer skills required for digital record-keeping.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks, forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Transport rock, byproducts and debris within the facility.
• Haul and dump totes using forklift equipment as needed.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs.
