Job summary

The Simplot Company in Caldwell, Idaho is seeking an experienced maintenance electrician to ensure efficient operation of plant process control instrumentation. You will calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation and control systems at the facility.

Shift runs 6:00 pm–6:00 am with pay at $39.12/hour plus a $2.00 night differential. A Associate’s degree or equivalent and Idaho Journeyman Electrician License are required to perform the role with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (A.A. or equivalent) required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Idaho State Journeyman Electrician License. Must maintain certification throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and calibrates central process control equipment and instrumentation.
• Performs preventive/predictive maintenance and timely repairs.
• Reads electrical blueprints and schematics to support maintenance tasks.
• Ensures safety, food safety and GMP compliance in all activities.
• Documents maintenance actions and reports shift events using information systems.
