Job summary

North Pacific Seafoods Inc. in Kodiak, AK is seeking a Night Case Up Supervisor to oversee the night case up department and ensure production goals are met. You will supervise a 25+ crew, coordinate with other departments, and report to the Plant Manager.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• 5+ years of experience in the Alaska seafood industry, preferably with multiple species.
• Ability to work with a culturally diverse group of employees.
• Ability to multi-task and effective use of time management.
• Ability to work long hours, seven days a week during peak season.
• Ability and willingness to work in Kodiak, AK year-round.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements shift assignments and effectively manage a crew of approximately 25+ employees.
• Manages case up to achieve optimum labor goals.
• Assist with checking and enforcing attendance for the night shift case up crew.
• Organizes and reports case up workflow daily.
• Responsible for reporting work-related injuries occurring in the case up area, initiates investigation when appropriate and addresses all unsafe conditions immediately.
• Ensures the case up lines have all resources needed to carry out production goals.
• Ensures all plant operations meet or exceed regulatory requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
