Job summary

Oakmont Management Group operates Ivy Park at Monterey, a premier senior living community. The Care Provider will assist residents with daily activities and support independence while upholding the community’s values of authentic care, teamwork, and compassion.

Responsibilities include ADL support, responding to resident needs, communicating changes to supervisors, maintaining safety, and promoting a collaborative work environment among staff and departments.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Criminal background check and health screening tests including TB testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Notify supervisor immediately of any observed change in condition.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with co-workers and other departments.
