Job summary

Avenues Home Care of Tennessee seeks a dedicated Night Shift Caregiver to support elderly and vulnerable clients in the Knoxville area. You will assist with ADLs, medication reminders, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation, ensuring safety and dignity in daily routines.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, strict confidentiality, and reporting daily activities to supervisors. A clean driving record and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

Work requires good communication skills.
Ability to follow verbal and written assignments.
Proficiency with Homecare Company Management System—ClearCare.

Responsibilities

Assist the client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as per the client’s plan of care.
Assist with medication, housekeeping, laundry, meals, shopping, transportation and companionship.
Report daily activity to your supervisor through the agency management system and logs.
Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations; adhere to company policies.
