Job summary

Howard Head Sports Medicine is seeking a Care Technician for the Vail Health Patient Care Unit in Vail, CO. This full-time, night-shift role supports nursing and care teams in a 38-bed unit, delivering safe, compassionate patient care across medical and surgical services.

You will collect and document vital signs, coordinate patient flow, and assist with mobility and bedside care. Night shift offers dedicated support resources and a clinician-led environment focused on patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a care tech preferred.
• Licenses/certifications required: EMT (CO), CNA (CO), or BLS.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care activities including vital signs and documentation in the EMR.
• Coordinate daily patient flow and room readiness to optimize care, safety and satisfaction.
• Work with providers to implement instructions and orders.
• Maintain infection control standards and safe working environment.
• Support with scheduling, admitting and discharging patients as needed.
• Maintain equipment and documentation in patient records.
