Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care to patients and families across the continuum in a 24/7 cardiovascular unit. The RN is accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs as per policy.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, with emphasis on safety, quality and efficiency in a High Reliability Organization. Night shift, 36 hours per week, join our healthcare team.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required
• RN license in good standing (Ohio) or compact state
• BSN required after 5 years of employment

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - initial, ongoing, functional health status assessment.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - document planned nursing interventions.
• Implementation/Evaluation - evaluate responses and revise plan of care with multidisciplinary team.
• Leadership - participate in process improvement for quality, satisfaction, and finances.
• Operations - focus on safety, quality, and efficiency as an HRO.
