Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced RN to assist in planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating operations and patient care in designated areas. The role serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients and may function as staff nurse as needed, with managerial duties delegated by a manager.

The position requires an accredited nursing degree, active RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure, and BLS certification (or completion within 30 days).

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing and current in hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification obtained or completed within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Perform duties as staff nurse when needed and assume manager duties delegated by a manager.
