Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle, following established nursing processes and organizational policies. You will maintain standards of practice and coordinate care across assigned staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.

The role requires GA RN licensure, BCLS, and at least basic nursing experience; new graduates are eligible. Advanced certifications are encouraged where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing. Required.
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse; Georgia licensure required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Functions within the organization’s policies and procedures and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
• Maintains standards of practice and coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
