Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital seeks a staff nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle, applying nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. You will coordinate care with all assigned staff while upholding standards and policies.

Required RN licensure in Georgia and current BCLS certification; new graduates are eligible, with a preferred Bachelor's degree and advanced specialty certifications where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• RN license in Georgia required; NLC/eNCL multistate license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) required.
• Advanced certification in specialty area, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff.
• Work within organizational policies and demonstrate accountability.
