Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking staff nurses to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle. Nurses will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, while upholding hospital policies and demonstrating professional growth.

The role emphasizes coordinating care among staff to maintain high standards of practice and quality patient care. New graduates are eligible; hospital experience is preferred, with GA licensure and BCLS

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing is required.
• New graduates of a nursing program are eligible.
• Hospital experience is preferred; 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions is preferred.
• Georgia RN license (NLC/eNCL multistate) current in GA required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty is preferred if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Utilize nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality care.
