Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Corpus Christi seeks an experienced RN for high-acuity cardiac and medical-surgical care. You will work in a 24-bed unit, delivering evidence-based nursing with monitoring and specialized devices, while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a BSN preferred, TX RN license, BLS/ACLS, and at least 1 year in a critical care setting. The shift is 7 PM to 7 AM, full-time with ongoing professional development and competency validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year ICU/critical care experience preferred.
• Active RN license in TX with BLS/ACLS as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication and care provided.
• Educate patients, families and caregivers; identify learning needs and resources.
