Job summary

Requires Michigan RN license and ACLS within 6 months; two years of cardiac critical care or ED/ICU experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse to practice nursing in Michigan.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer for units specified.
• Minimum two years of experience in a cardiac critical care unit or related areas.
• Preferred: experience with arterial lines or venous sheaths.
• Two years of clinical acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to McLaren Flint nursing standards using the nursing process.
• Assesses and documents patient status on admission and continuously thereafter.
• Develops written plan of care with long and short-term goals and nursing actions.
