Job summary

The Intermountain Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado is hiring a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team on a Progressive Care Telemetry unit. You will perform basic care tasks and assist with documentation and coordination with RNs.

Night shift hours are 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Applicants must hold a Colorado CNA license and BLS, with strong teamwork and computer literacy to deliver safe, compassionate care in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in the state of Colorado.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and deliver basic patient care (toileting, bathing, linen changes, hydration, ambulation).
• Report and record patient care findings and changes in condition promptly.
• May perform telemetry duties and function as a patient care attendant.
• Coordinate with RN and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Assist as health unit coordinator (phones, orders, unit records).
• Adhere to plan of care and safety policies.
