Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for its Cardiac Neuro-Acute Tele unit. You will assist patients with daily living activities and support the nursing staff under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge.

The role requires CNA certification (preferred), BLS within 30 days, and familiarity with medical terminology. High school diploma or equivalent is required, with a rotating night schedule and full-time status.

Qualifications

• Certification in CNA preferred.
• BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Phlebotomy and EKG certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide basic nursing care under RN supervision.
• Maintain a safe environment on the unit.
