Job summary

Planet Pharma seeks a Manufacturing Associate for CAR-T Operations in Raritan, NJ. This on-site, night-shift role supports a 24/7 manufacturing operation with 12.5-hour shifts.

Duties include executing manufacturing steps, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with PPE, cleanroom gowning, and cGMP/GDP standards. The ideal candidate has biotech/pharma/manufacturing experience with the ability to work in a team, follow SOPs, and participate in audits.

Qualifications

• Follow written and verbal instructions and SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Team-based manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cGMP and GDP principles preferred.
• Experience operating manufacturing or lab equipment preferred.
• Basic understanding of process improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing and support activities per SOPs and batch records.
• Perform cell culture, purification, processing, and cryopreservation using approved procedures.
• Document production activities in batch records and GMP docs.
• Operate unit operations per cGMP and GDP requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and support teams to meet production goals.
• Support process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
• Assist with investigations and deviations as needed.
• Ensure materials and supplies are available for operations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, compliant work environment.
• Participate in audit prep and inspections.
