The Tool & Gage House is seeking a Dimensional Calibration Technician to join the 3rd shift laboratory team. You will calibrate, inspect, and certify dimensional measuring equipment, read engineering drawings, and ensure traceability per ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540.

You will work independently during overnight hours while collaborating with technicians and quality personnel to resolve measurement issues and maintain a safe, organized metrology lab. Prior calibration experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in dimensional calibration, metrology, or quality inspection.
• Experience calibrating dimensional measurement equipment such as micrometers and calipers.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540, and measurement traceability.
• Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T requirements.
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities with excellent attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Perform calibration and certification of dimensional measurement instruments.
• Calibrate micrometers, calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, and related tools.
• Interpret drawings and GD&T requirements to ensure compliance.
• Maintain traceability using reference standards and surface plates.
• Record results, uncertainties, and observations in laboratory software.
• Generate calibration certificates and reports for customers.
• Support ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540 compliance.
• Collaborate with technicians and quality personnel on issues.
