Job summary

ECMC is seeking a Building Maintenance Mechanic for the night shift at our Buffalo facilities. The role requires skilled maintenance across trades including plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC systems.

You will plan work, read blueprints, and supervise semi-skilled staff as needed. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in skilled trades, HVAC training (1200 hours) or equivalent, and EPA Universal CFC certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with 3+ years in one of the skilled trades.
• HVAC training or completion of 1200 hours and EPA Universal CFC certification preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints or schematics is required.
• Ability to operate tools and equipment used in maintenance and repair trades.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled maintenance in trades such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, masonry, or electrical.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications; plan work and estimate materials.
• Climb radio towers and operate power tools, test equipment, and mechanical systems.
• Repair and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems as assigned.
• Ensure building facilities are safe and in good repair; supervise minor maintenance tasks as needed.
