Job summary

Douglas School District is seeking a Building Custodian for the evening shift to keep our schools clean, safe, and welcoming. You will clean floors, assist with minor maintenance, set up for events, and secure the building at the end of each day.

This role supports students and staff by maintaining a tidy environment and responding to needs as they arise, with hours 2:30–11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Keep schools clean, safe, and welcoming by cleaning floors and spaces.
• Address minor maintenance tasks and set up for events.
• Keep hallways spotless and secure the building at day end.
• Perform seasonal duties such as snow removal and grass mowing when required.
