Job summary

Hanover Public School District is seeking a reliable Part-Time Custodian to keep our school facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for students, staff, and the community. The role requires working 3:00pm–7:00pm across district buildings, with duties including cleaning, chemical handling, and security checks.

A valid driver's license and a high school diploma are required, with about a year of custodial experience preferred.

• Great communication skills and the ability to follow verbal/written directions.
• 1 year of custodial experience is preferred (but not required).
• Note: Background clearances (Act 34, 114, 151, and 168) will be required prior to hiring).

Looking for a stable, year-round job? We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Custodian to help us maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and community. This position floats to different buildings within the district as assigned, Monday-Friday, 3:00pm - 7:00pm. Minimum starting rate is $14.06 per hour. Actual starting rate depends on experience and internal equity.
